For over 20 years, Antonia has been committed to making immigration law accessible, fair, and human. Background
Antonia began her academic journey by studying English Literature at Newcastle upon Tyne, graduating in 2005. Following this, she decided to pursue a career in law and completed the Graduate Diploma in Law (law conversion course), followed by the Bar Vocational Course. She was subsequently called to the Bar at Middle Temple while working for the Home Office as a Higher Executive Officer (HEO), Presenting Officer and caseworker.
Her nine years at the Home Office provided invaluable experience and insight into the UK immigration and asylum system. During this period, she witnessed significant change, including the implementation of the New Asylum Model and a growing emphasis on faster decision-making and the achievement of political targets. Most importantly, her time there reinforced her belief in the importance of treating every individual with compassion and respect. She learned that success comes from truly listening to each person's story, engaging with them on a personal level, and constantly reminding ourselves that, above all, we are all human.
In 2017, after leaving the Home Office, Antonia established RB Immigration. The organisation was born from a desire to provide honest, clear and fair immigration advice in an area where this can often be difficult to find. It also reflected her ambition to work independently and build a practice based on her own values and approach—principles that remain at the heart of RB Immigration today.
During the early years of the business, Antonia also worked as a Senior Immigration Adviser at Harrison Clark Rickerbys, gaining valuable insight into the operation of immigration services within a large law firm environment. This experience further strengthened her expertise and broadened her understanding of the legal profession.
Today, the values that inspired Antonia to establish RB Immigration—integrity, compassion and a commitment to putting people first—continue to guide her work and the services provided by the firm.
